Ms. Ross

My goal this year is to be dedicated to the students and create a welcoming environment where every student feels confident in themselves and comfortable in the classroom. I believe that children deserve a teacher who will meet their needs and who believes that they are all successful. Therefor, I will be the best role model I can be to every student as they journey through their school year at St. John Bosco.

I Believe . . .

  • Every child of God is blessed with unique talents and it is my responsibility to foster and accept those talents in the classroom.

  • That all children are successful, given the right tools and assistance, they can conquer anything they put their minds to.

  • I should inspire students to love to learn. They should feel ambitious, curious and excited every day to explore, collaborate and work in partnership towards a common goal of learning.

  • I firmly believe it is important to bring the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Church into my everyday classroom practice as they assist me in creating a positive and faith-filled classroom environment.

Outside of school, I spend a lot of time with my family which includes my husband and dog. I enjoy taking my dog Leo to the dog park and hiking through the River Valley. In the summer, I took Leo for a hike through the mountains which I really enjoyed. I grew up at the skating rink, with countless hours figure skating and then watching both my brother and dad play hockey. Oilers are my number one team. If you want to talk hockey, I’m all ears!
